Product Description

_

Ethoxylated castor oil is a non-ionic surfactant that has various applications in many industries. Polyoxyethylene castor oil derivatives are a complex mixture of hydrophilic and hydrophobic components. In polyethoxylated castor oil, about 80% of the total mixture is made up of hydrophobic components. The main part is made of polyethylene glycol ricinolenate. Other hydrophobic components include polyethylene glycol ester fatty acids along with some unmodified castor oil. The hydrophilic part includes polyethylene glycol and ethoxylated glycerol.

Storage and handling

Store polyoxyethylene castor oil derivatives in closed containers at a temperature between 10 and 40 degrees Celsius away from oxidizing reagents, high heat and sources of ignition. The warehouse and the place of use must be in proper ventilation conditions. Storage and place of use should not be near heat, impact or sunlight. The containers of these materials should not have holes, protrusions and bumps. Polyoxyethylene castor oil derivatives are stable and do not rust iron and steel under normal conditions. Since most surfactants are slightly hygroscopic, they should be stored in closed containers to prevent moisture absorption.

safety

Polyoxyethylene derivatives of castor oil are used in all kinds of formulations of oral and dental drugs, topical and injectable. Acute and chronic poisoning tests in animals show that polyoxyethylene derivatives of castor oil are non-toxic and non-inflammatory substances.

sustainability

Stable solutions of COE36 are used in many organic compounds such as chloroform, ethanol and propanol. COE36 is miscible with other polyoxyethylene derivatives of castor oil and in the presence of heat it combines with fatty acids, fatty alcohols and some vegetable oils. COE36 solutions are stable in aqueous alcohols. Aqueous solutions of COE36 are stable in the presence of low concentrations of electrolytes such as acids and salts, with the exception of mercury chloride.

Application

Polyoxyethylene derivatives of castor oil are non-ionic surfactants that are used in the formulation of topical and oral drugs. It is also used as an emulsifier and stabilizing agent in the preparation of medicines and ointments. They are also used in ointments, animal foods and textiles as emulsifiers and stabilizers. Also, ethoxylated castor oil can be used in wool washing industry. It is used as an excellent cleaning agent for grease and oil. In general, ethoxylated castor oil is used as an emulsifier, co-emulsifier, spreader, lubricant, moisturizer, wool cleaning agent, antistatic, viscosity controlling agent, penetrating and stabilizing agent, solvent, wool and textile industries. and coloring is used.
