Product Description

_

Lauryl alcohols are ethoxylated nonionic surfactants obtained from the addition of ethylene oxide gas to linear fatty alcohols having 12 to 14 carbon atoms. Ethoxylated lauryl alcohol is named LAE followed by the number of ethylene oxide gas added.
LAE2, LAE3, LAE5, LAE7 are viscous liquids at room temperature and LAE9 is a white waxy solid. Other grades of LAE are available upon request.

packing

Bulk or 220 liter barrels (200 kg net), each 4 barrels packed in one pallet.

shelf life

LAE grades generally do not present significant problems in handling and storage. They are inert, low toxicity, non-volatile, stable and non-corrosive compounds with high FlashPoint. Due to the hygroscopic nature of LAE grades, 316/304 stainless steel tanks under nitrogen gas pressure conditions are recommended for long-term storage of bulk liquids.

Application

In detergents: different grades of lauryl ethoxylated in solid and liquid detergents, household and manual cleaners as the main surfactant.
In textile: as primary wool cleaner, lubricant, dryer
In agriculture: as an emulsifier
In paper: as a moisturizing and absorbent agent
In leather making: as degreaser, tanning
In rubber: as a stabilizing agent
In paint: as a moisturizing and emulsifying agent
In cosmetics: as a basic raw material for the production of shampoos and skin cleansers

benefits

LAE products contain long-chain fatty alcohols, which generally have properties such as moisturizing, dispersing and emulsifying.
